"We don't need fashion to survive, we just desire it so much" - Marc Jacobs

Couldn't have really said it better myself. So, today I'm going to try to be a little fashion fairy godmother and pass on a few little essentials of mine. I recently got an iPhone and was excitedly amazed by the amount of fashion apps there were (huge smiley face). I thought I couldn't keep these little gold mines uncovered, it'd be a bit selfish really!

THE ESSENTIAL

Vogue Daily News

To keep on top with all the fash biz, you have everything in one app. Truly fabby! This app has two sections (Daily News and People & Parties) so you can get your update nice and speedy. Don't think I could live without this app.

THE SHOP-TILL-YA-DROPS

Asos and Topshop

I think you understand that I can choose between the two. That would just be cruel. Both are filled with amazing clothes and accessories and amazing stuff. For me, they're the King and Queen of High Street (don't know who's who). Both have either a notebook or wish list so you can save your stuff and buy later, or just admire.

THE GAME

Covet Fashion

I'm addicted. Really, I can't get of this thing. Who knew styling an outfit for a 'Film Opening' or 'Shopping on Rodeo Drive' was soooo much fun? I certainly do now. It's a great lil game that once you try you need.

THE QUOTE MASTER

Fashion Pocket Quotes

This app is very handy, I've gotta say. In fact, every morning at 08:00 exactly, they send me a fashion quote. Cuties. They have some great quotes from Yves Saint Laurent, Anna Wintour, Michelle Obama and of course more. This provides my nice little daily slab of inspiration in a fashiony way.

THE FABBY FRENCHIE

Gaultier: His Fashion World

This one is full of fabby French info, hence the title. Jean's app really is the creme de la creme. With pics, info, vids, quotes and references, it's your guide to French fashion heaven. Which I'd imagine is somewhere I want to visit.

Hopefully this is useful, if not, it was fun writing it! Go download these from the App Store!

Upcoming Trends - White Takeover!

This season everyone is going nuts for a bit of white in their life. All of the pieces i have been routing through for the last couple of days are so full of passion and attention to detail that they are just truely irresistible. I have come across all the patterns you could imagine and they are all equally as stunningly breathtaking. The texture of a piece is something also that makes these pieces so encapturing is their different materials such as a white jumpsuit made out of silk or a mini dress that's made out of cotton. It all depends. Emilio Pucci and Christopher Kane displayed some perfect examples, though I couldnt bring myself to choosing between them, they are all too magnificent! Get your latest whites in and be bang on trend! Upcoming Trends - Flower Power!

Welcome to 2013 all you lovely people! To start the next chapter of our wardrobe we need to invest in a florally designed masterpiece, whether it be a rose-filled blouse or a daisy-smothered dress...you choose! 'Flower Power' is no new thing to us Brits, as we all know it was a huge excitement in the sixties era. With the sixties being the most influential fashion era the United Kingdom has ever come across, with the mini skirt coming into trend, (Mary Quant), and the 'mod' revolution, what more could they have produced? May I introduce to you the miracle of a designer called Holly Fulton. She is a perfect example of floral display in the fashion industry. She mixes the iconic styles of the nifty fifties and the swinging sixties with utmost modern patterns and textures, adding in full-blown statements like flowers. She has the concept so purely right and I LOVE IT! Watch out for her on the fashion scene, I'm sure she'll be thriving even more soon enough. Upcoming Trends - Black Tie!

Black Tie is my new fav! With Christmas approaching, I know that I want to be looking smart and slick for my seasons greetings, and this year I think Lady Suits are the way forward. Goodbye bright maxis, hello black tie! The look I'd go for would consist of a bralet, blouse, blazer, cropped jeans and loafers. Topshop has a totally amazing range of bralets and my favourite was the Pearl Embellished Bralet at 38 pounds. Link of - http://www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=0&viewAllFlag=&catalogId=33057&storeId=12556&productId=8451931&langId=-1&categoryId=&searchTerm=bralet&pageSize=20 . For the blouse, either a cream or white, and I reccommend Mulberry's Bow Tie Blouse. Link of - http://www.mulberry.com/#/storefront/c5704/7442/moreviews/ . Massimo Dutti has a classic, simple blazer, the Black Suit Jacket. They have a nice range of blazers but this one suits the brief best. Link of - http://www.massimodutti.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product/duttigb/en/massimodutti/370506/1130539/BLACK%2BSUIT%2BJACKET . The best cropped trousers on the market are Versace's Masculine Cropped Trousers. Next up is a red-soled pair of Rolling Spikes Flat from Mr. C Louboutin himself! Link of - http://eu.christianlouboutin.com/uk_en/shop/women/rolling-spikes-flat.html . For the finishing touchs, I'd add Tacori's Classic Rock - http://www.tacori.com/jewelry/bracelets/sb107y.html and Paloma Piccaso's Caliper ring for Tiffany & Co. - http://www.tiffany.co.uk/Shopping/Item.aspx?fromGrid=1&sku=GRP04777&mcat=148204&cid=287466&search_params=s+5-p+25-c+287466-r+-x+-n+6-ri+-ni+0-t+ .
