Designer Of The Year - Stella McCartney!

What a great year Stella McCartney has had! Designing the sportswear for the London 2012 Olympics and appearing on Ab Fab on a Olympics special. As a special festive treat, I thought I would do a fact-file on McCartney herself!

Name: Stella Nina McCartney - Stella after both of her great-grandmothers!

Date Of Birth: 13th September 1971.

Parents: Sir Paul McCartney - Former member of The Beatles - and Linda McCartney - Late photographer and animal rights activist.

Spouse: Alasdhair Willis - 2003 > Present.

Children: Four - Miller Alasdhair James Willis, Bailey Linda Olwyn Willis, Reiley Dilys Stella Willis & Beckett Robert Lee Willis.

Education: Various state schools in East Sussex & Central St Martins.
Height: 5' 5".
Vegetarian: YES!
Career: Was once head of Chloé. Launched a range in H&M in 2005. She designed Madonna's wedding dress for her marriage to Guy Richie in 2000.

Merry Glitzmas + A Harem New Year!

Merry Christmas Everyone! Hopefully it will be one to remember! Everyone knows that with christmas comes the mince pies, the never-ending list of cards you have to write, no doubt there's a couple you can't remember who they are for the life of you, and of course, chrimbo jumpers! My faves are displayed above. They are perfect chuck-ons, being so practical and comfortable, when you are having a lazy day and you can always dress them up with some tight jeans, subtle hair accessories and some nice, little, leather biker boots. What more do you want for a cold winters day may i ask? I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Upcoming Trends - Black Tie!

Black Tie is my new fav! With Christmas approaching, I know that I want to be looking smart and slick for my seasons greetings, and this year I think Lady Suits are the way forward. Goodbye bright maxis, hello black tie! The look I'd go for would consist of a bralet, blouse, blazer, cropped jeans and loafers. Topshop has a totally amazing range of bralets and my favourite was the Pearl Embellished Bralet at 38 pounds. It's winter time and everyone's wrapping up all in black, but be brave and go for Blush! If you're going abroad, then this is a key look. It's fun and summery but you can still get away with it! There was some great examples but Chanel pipped very many posts and I would say came out on Fashion top at Paris Fashion Week 2012. This should inspire you all to go out and get your new look this season. In my opinion, Blush is great all year round! Get ahead for your new year by going hunting for a Blush dress or blouse! Designer of The Month - Gucci!

When Guccio Gucci founded the now legendary 'House of Gucci', he was onto a winner! The Florence-born master of Fashion set his first company store up in 1921, in the midst of the art-deco era. Selling his high-end fashion products and top quality leather goods made his name notable and what we know of today. I love the class and awe-inspiring designs. In particular, the Isabel Shoe is pure, luxurious and I can help myself from indulging in the pair! Another of my faves is the Sable Dress. I can't put into words how stunning this piece is, the way the garland of flowers circles your neck, it distinguishes the hips and slims the shoulders. It has a trail of bauble like, golden beads down the sides. It's light lilac complexion is soft on the skin and I am in complete awe! I'm sure you agree on my decision. WE LOVE GUCCI!
